How do force myself to eat with a spoon?

My whole family is forcing me to eat with a spoon and fork, & have never used any kind of silverware to eat with anything before. I don't like to eat with my hands sometimes, i eat like a dog. If you think this is a joke it's not.. i'm Serious. i sometimes lick the water instead of drinking it, i can't eat or drink in front of people, cause i'm afraid of people looking at me weird, i always go someplace alone so that nobody can see me. Except in front my family when we eat dinner together... & if guest's come over for BBQ, i have to go to my room & eat.
