Chances of me making it as a rapper?

I really want to be a rapper. Here's how I planned my life: Join ROTC in high school, then when in college get a major in engineering and minor in english. After I finish college I train to be an officer in the marines and when I get out of the military and settle down someplace and start work as an engineer I start trying to get my music out there. Anyway I'm white and polish, too. Assuming that my plan goes as planned, what do you think are the chances of me becoming a rapper?
