Where can I go to find chicks right now?

I'm 18 and just graduated high school. Most of the girls in my high school class were borderline retarded, so I only keep in touch with a few anymore. Where can I go to meet more girls besides the mall? Someplace where I can talk to them without it being awkward or weird or feeling like I'm getting in their way. I can't go to a bar or a club since I'm only 18.
