My step son is stealing from my house?

My partner and I have a 3 month old together. I also have a 16 year old and seven year old to my husband who passed away. My current partner has a 12 year old daughter to one woman, and a 11 year old son and 7 year old daughter to another woman. He has his kids over every second weekend and any other time the mothers ask him to, which lately has been most weekends. These kids are very poorly behaved. 2 visits ago the 11 year old boy was standing on the edge of the pool peeing in it and the 7 year old poohed beside the pool. Neither child was smacked, just told if they did it again they would be banned for a while. They run around my house all weekend. Make mess everywhere. Grab fresh towels for every swim and every shower. Only eat crap food. To the point where I really can't be bothered cooking for them any more cause they just say Yuk! and don't eat it. The very last visit they were going through my boxes downstairs, these boxes where sealed. I caught them and told them in no uncertain terms to stay out of them. I have my dead husband in an urn in one of those boxes and a heap of other valuables. I also have a presents box with new stuff I had bought on sale that is great for gifts. This box had been gone through. Again I said stay away from my things. The night after they left, I found tags from the new things in the box discarded on the floor and noticed that the items attached to these tags had disappeared. I told my partner and he rang his son and he had the items. He said my 7 year old daughter said he could have them, which I know is rubbish because she was the one that alerted me to them going through my stuff. My partner saw he had some of his stuff from downstairs when he was leaving but decided he could have what he had found of his. He asked him what else he had in his bag, and he said nothing. I should have insisted we check his bag but didn't. My partner believes that he hasn't done anything wrong because he believes my 7 year old said he could have my stuff. Forget that I said said stay away from my boxes and even asked him to reinforce that. I get so frustrated. These aren't my children, but this is my house. Shouldn't I have more control in my own home?

The person who interviewd me told "Oh no problem, we just send an amendment document to declare that this account belongs to your mother and not you." Time paaast. And I finally had an appointment with the attorney in Feb 2011 that it was best to dismiss the case so I could have time to fix my mom's account and refile or do the ammendment and he would charge me 250/hour( even though the contract said 215). So I agreed to dismiss it for him to refile. I was dismissed in early March. I fixed my mom's account immediatley and within 2 weeks advised to refile. Upto this date, I have been given the runaround stating "well we're in the process of tranfering your file". Everything was sent electronically. I have given them everything they have requested from me on time. My life is at a stand still. Can't do anything financially until I resolve this situation. Can I fire this deadbeat and get my money attorney fees back? If so HOW?

My husband's Social Security check was not deposited in the bank ... What is going on?

My husband is on SSDI and has received monthly payments for the past eight years, electronically deposited on the third Wednesday of every month. He was re-approved for benefits about five months ago. This month, the third Wednesday has come and gone and the bank said it has not arrived. Worst night ever! how do i fix some stuff?

I baby sat 4 kids for about 3.5 hours and everything went wrong. A 3 year old boy, 6 year old girl and 8 year old boy were the kids. The little boy got hurt and would nottttt listen! The girl was throwing tantrums and the oldest let in a friend who the mom had banned from the house. I couldn't get his friend to leave. I work as a CNA at a nursing and rehab facility. There is another cna that works with me pretty regularly and she is just horrible to be blunt about it. Anyways, getting to the point. Tonight she filled out a shower sheet claiming to have given a resident a shower, and also charted it electronically. Only problem is she never actually gave them a shower!! Second FHA loan Help PLEASE?

IF I were to purchase a home with a cosigner who later became a tenant, their name was removed from the deed (quitclaim) but the mortgage was never refinanced. Over the 2 year time frame their credit score dropped dramatically (phones, credit cards,etc.). Now I want to move (my family has gotten bigger) but there is no way to get the loan refinanced (her credit score is too low) and she has nowhere to go so my home is kind of crowded. She says she will take over the loan (we plan to have legal doc. drawn up saying so) but the lender wants to consider this as my debt. I can't live anywhere rent free so of course she has not always covered the entire mortgage payment, but she has made all the payments electronically. We share a bank acct also that we make the payments out of. Is there any way to prove that she is making the payments (without having cancelled checks) and be able to qualify for a second fha loan. I meet the income, credit, everything, but this mortgage is whats holding me back.

My sister who is known for lying and stealing the day before my graduation is taken to the er by my mom. She is having some pain in her left eye. My gf of 4.5 years cheated on me and told me she was drunk. I held her in my arms and told her it was ok and that I forgive her. She said she can't be with me Coz she feels guilty looking at me. Are dismissed cases automatically sealed in New York State?

I was pulled over 6 months ago because my tail light was flickering. The officer ran my plates and license to issue and equipment violation ticket and told me my license was suspended. My car was towed and I was brought to the police station in the village I was pulled over asked for 100 dollars bail and given a court date. I found out the error was that the DMV did not pick up my new insurance policy electronically because the new and old one overlapped by one day and they picked up a cancellation the day after the new policy started which superseded the new policy (bad programming I guess) at any rate I gave this information and proof to the district attorney who dismissed my case. My question is whether or not those records would be sealed for the purposes of an employment background check. I am sure law enforcement could see such a record which is really no concern for me as it was dismissed but I worry that it may be prejudicial when trying to get a job regardless of its dismissal. My research has said that the records are sealed but I want to be sure, other states are different where you may have to request the record be expunged I do not think that is possible in NY but I want to be sure I don't want a clerical error to cost me a job.

"Afraid" of social situations?

It's not exactly a fear I would say, but I do feel somewhat afraid of the idea of going someplace, say a party, where there will more than a couple people I don't know. So yea I have this little project I'm working on. So basically I made an improved version of something I saw on the internet and want to improve it further. So since you probably don't care what it is and I really don't want any of my ideas being stolen, here is the basic thing I'm doing. So I have a hand pumped air compressor (this thing relies on size, not power) and It is connected to a about 1/4 inch tube which has a valve on it. All of that is part of the actual compressor. Next there is a few feet of 1/2 inch tubing which houses a ball that is shot out with the air pressure. So what I need to do it is to add another valve (have to keep the smaller, hand operated valve) somewhere in the 1/2 inch tubing that can quickly release all of the pressure by it electronically opening. So what I need to know is what is this type of valve called and how much does one cost?

A friend of mine got his 4th DUI in 2008 in the state of Illinois. He is currently on probation for it. His hearing officer told him that the judge handed down convictions on his prior 3 DUIs which were originally adjudicated as supervisions. He is now being told by someone in the traffic court building that he is now banned for life from driving in the state of Illinois and the country. Is it normal for someone to be banned from driving for life for this? And how could the judge hand down convictions on prior cases that had been already adjudicated as supervisions? I moved to a new city and closed my bank account. Its been in the news that e-books will overtake paper books and will be everywhere in the future. I do not like E-books, you lose that traditional, magical feeling of reading from a paper book. A source of information that contains human life, fantasy, history and Knowledge. E-books are disgusting creatures sent from hell to enslave human life. Soon enough we will have to call the terminator to eradicate these pests! With E-books, you have to look at a screen to read, which if you look at too long you can damage your eyesight. If we store information electronically, all of that can be wiped out with a solar flare that takes out all electronics. Plus, screens emit blue light which your body can confuse with the morning light that prepares your body to wake up, so, no more late night reading if you want good sleep! Do you hate E-books? I keep getting brochures and letters in the mail from different colleges that seems to offer what I'm interested in or sometimes send me a fancy letter inviting me someplace that seems believable or real. Should I feel special and trust them or everyone else basically get the same thing in their mail? How do the colleges even know about a person's interest to mail them? So for example, your RR Jolteon can be used in tournaments because it's newer (made more recently). Your Flareon EX can't be used because EX cards are quite old (made some time ago). Iphone won't connect?

I was speaking in perfect German one time and I said "Wo ist Stephen?" The people I was talking to was aware of my German speaking habits but only spoke English unfortunately and they confused "wo" which means "where" in German to "who." Also I find it funny that it will red underline wo as it mistakes it for a misspelling of who. So the girl replied, "He's a white boy who talks funny and loves to wear shorts." I never found out his location. I marched on home. Maybe I should've spoken in English because "Wer ist Stephen" would've been incorrect but confused for "Where is Stephen?" I find it hilarious that the spell checker confuses the German word "wer" for a misspelling of the English "where." Also is this another example of what someone means about believing you recognize words and parts? Like let's say Fabrik from German and you believe it means fabric but it actually means factory when the actual word for fabric "Leinwand" was hiding someplace else within the language? So if someone was speaking Swedish or Danish to me and I thought a word sounded like German and I replied with the wrong answer because of misinterpretation because of knowledge in German, would they get mad?

I feel MIL promoting SIL to my baby?

my sil has not been able to have a baby after neing married for some years, so i sympathize. However, my mil has been constantly pushing my son over to her, trying to create some kind of bond between them i feel. Family events, i dont get to hold him much to show him off, he almost immediately gets taken out of my hands by my parents in law, then handed over to my sis in law. Which would last for hours or until he cries. I sit with an emoty stroller by my side, which makes me kinda sad. And my parents in law almost oftentimes talk to my son abt her, keep mentioning her basically. And then, they had a big blowup when my husband tells them to inform me when taking him out of the house (they live with us), even just to take him out to the park, as i kinda will be like "hey, where's my baby?" and then feel kinda upset., like the rug was pulled out frm under me, as i would like to know where he is at all times, and even more upset that they just let my sis in law take him downstairs without telling me. And even when they did ask me, when sis in law wanted to take him downstairs, she and her husband, without my knowledge, also drove him around a short distance. They had also wanted to drive him to someplace for a short while, but he is v attached to me so i am afraid he would cry. To that, they thought of FIL, whom he is reasonably ok with, to come along. No extention of invitation to the mother? Anyway, just didnt like him being driving distance-far from me, which has never been done before. They didnt even ask me directly, just mediated through my mil. Whom is a domineering character, so they mostly look to her for permission with my baby, or carry out her suggestions made to them like abt taking my baby out nearby. My sister has been having problems for a few years, attempted suicide a few times, and has suicidal feelings. She always calls someone for help, and knows she shouldn't be alone during these times. But it's been years and it's getting worse. She gained a lot of weight, has chronic migraines and sleeps for 18 hours on and off all day. She has no desire to do anything, even to help herself! I don't know what to do. I live an hour away, so I can't just come by when she needs me. Is there someplace she can check herself into?
